SUSANNAH COLLINS

ABOUT SUSANNAH COLLINS

Susannah is a visual artist who lives and works in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. She is an exhibiting and commissioned artist, that has shown work in solo, collaborative and group shows. Susannah has also coordinated and led art workshops and exhibitions at the community level.
Currently undertaking a Master of Fine Art at RMIT University, Susannah specialises in figurative oil painting and drawing. Her artistic practice transitions between the spontaneous capture of everyday moments and the deliberate construction of staged interior and still-life scenes. Drawing from the foundations of Still Life traditions, notably Memento Mori, her work unfolds as a self-reflective dialogue, navigating the intricate balance between chaos and harmony within her domestic spaces.

Within her practice, Susannah delves into the transient and the in-between, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty, liminality and delicate interplay of elements present within the everyday.
